Art Direction Pitch

Insight: Within many large Christian communities, African American history is often acknowledged only in passing—diminishing the depth of its resilience, creativity, and cultural impact. This limited recognition leaves a gap in authentic celebration and engagement.

Idea: The Black Express Campaign was designed to reframe that narrative—boldly celebrating African American history and culture within the church context, through a month-long dedication to Black Expression of Faith, Education, Entrepreneurship, and Culture/Arts.
